Some of our favorite customers are the guys who clean out houses for a living; they often find boxes of old comics. Granted, most of the time, those comics are from the Trainwreck 90’s: we’re talking foil covers, people. Multiple copies of multiple foils, often bagged and boarded using bags and boards that are now worth more than the comics themselves.
Every once in a while, though, stuck in with all those perfectly readable but monetarily valueless books, you’ll find something pretty cool. Today, it’s a copy of Fantastic Four #45, the first appearance of the Inhumans. Sure, this particular copy is pretty beat-up–calling it rough around the edges would be implying that there are still actual edges–but I still like to think about its travels. From a newstand in 1965 through how many possible scenarios to here, today, where it appears on ye olde interwebs: I’ll be happy to put it on the wall for awhile.

It’s always fun to find stuff like that. Nice snag!
